Former Junior Players Golf Academy student Bryson Nimmer is having quite a week in Puerto Rico. Yesterday he won his third individual collegiate tournament of the year for the Clemson Tigers firing rounds of 74-66-70 for a 6 under par total. He is now tied with current PGA tour member D.J. Trahan for the most individual titles in a academic year in school history. The rest of Nimmer’s week will be spent preparing for and playing in the PGA Tour’s Puerto Rican open with the likes of Major Champions John Daly, David Duval, Mike Weir, Angel Cabrera and Retief Goosen. Nimmer received a sponsor’s exemption into the event and will be making his debut on the PGA Tour stage.
